Wall Beasts Slayer Task Guide

A quick & easy task that’s easy for low-level players is to kill Wall Beasts. Besides, not being that grindy of a task. But, an exploit is also perfect for grinding this task.

Recommended stats

While you can take on this task as a low-level player, there are some essential requirements to take on Wall Beasts without dying. These include:

  • 35 Slayer to defeat them
  • Light source to create visibility and not take unseen damage when you’re in the unlit area
  • Spiny helmet or Slayer helmet to defend against damage that would hit you for 18 hitpoints

Wall Beast’s weakness and stats

Fortunately for you, Unlike their stronger brother the Dark Beasts, Wall Beasts are weak to practically everything. Therefore, use any weapon of choice! Try to find out what weapon has the best DPS and use that.

Regarding what you can expect in combat with Wall Beasts, they attack through Melee with a max hit of 4 or 18, as mentioned before, if you don’t wear the Spiny helmet or Slayer helmet.

While you have the flexibility to be creative with gear considering these monsters are low level and weak to everything, a few optimal melee-based builds fitted to your level will make this task more efficient than it already is.

Gear and inventory

The idea for all of the builds is to prioritize damage input, with defense being the second most crucial factor. The reason being is the nature of the challenge to this task that gives you more significant liberty to attack instead of any other strategic option. The following Melee based builds include:

Low-level Melee build

  • Rune Full Helm
  • Ardougne Cloak
  • Amulet of Strength
  • Rune Scimitar
  • Rune Armor
  • Rune Kiteshield
  • Combat Bracelet
  • Climbing Boots

Medium Level Melee build

  • Black Mask
  • Ardougne Cloak
  • Amulet of Glory
  • Dragon Scimitar
  • Dragon Armor
  • Toktz-ket-xil

  • Abyssal Whip
  • Fighter’s Torso
  • Dragon Defender
  • Torag’s Platelegs
  • Barrows Gloves

  • Berserker Ring

A range-based build is just as worthy as a melee-based one in this task and comes down to preference. For the two following range builds, I recommend the following:

Low-Level Range Build

  • Snakeskin Bandana
  • Ava’s Attractor
  • Amulet of Glory
  • Mithril Darts
  • Snakeskin Armor

Inventory

Inventory management is another essential means of carrying out this task efficiently. It would be best if you manage your inventory the following way:

  • Varrock Teleport to teleport away
  • Tinderbox
  • Sapphire Lantern
  • Rope to get down the hole of the cave
  • Super combat set
  • Healing potions
  • Decent training food

Once you have the requirements and gear to take on this task, you will need to locate the Wall Beasts. They can be found in one specific area on the map known as the Lumbridge Swamp Caves, and here are the simple instructions on how to get there and locate Wall Beasts to farm XP.

Wall Beasts Location: Lumbridge Swamp Caves

Use the Lumbridge Teleport, then run west towards the caves on the map. For an alternative way to get there, you can use the Draynor teleport with the Amulet of Glory and then travel south to the caves.

First, you make it down the dark hole into the cave using the rope, then equip your sapphire lantern and tinderbox to illuminate the area for visibility.

There will be halls in walls; wall beasts will sneak attack you from them when you pass them. This method is how you draw them out, so a spiny helmet or slayer helmet is crucial to avoid the initial damage from the first attack of a wall beast.

To find the most Wall Beasts, make your way to the most southern point of the cave, where there will be an abundance of Wall Beasts to farm.

Bonus Tip – Respawning Wall Beasts

Speaking of the exploit that will increase the efficiency of this task, whenever you’ve finished killing Wall Beasts in the cave, go back up the rope to leave, then re-enter—you will find new Wall Beasts that have spawned.

This method will speed up the task if you can’t hop worlds due to the login limiter. However, for as long as you can switch words without hitting the limiter, do that with the quick switch.

Conclusion

Wall Beasts is a fun one-off task to do. Many players will never have to do this task since only the lower-level slayer master assigns it. If you follow this wall beasts slayer guide, you will do just fine and will be able to finish the task quickly. Just like the dog slayer task, don’t skip the task or block it, as it goes pretty fast and is not worth wasting the points.
